Here are some of the details for the “Santa Andy Claus Scavenger Hunt”
What you will need access to for the answers 1. The Book “Andy Kaufman Revealed! Best Friend Tells All” 3. “The Book of Illusions” by Paul Auster 4. The Movie “Man on the Moon” 5. The Documentary “Abel Raises Cain” 6. The Rampler Episodes 23-30 (this is for bonus not required to win) 7. The Movie “Eddie & the Cruisers” 8. The Book “Lost in the Funhouse, The Life & Mind of Andy Kaufman”
The hunt will last 8 weeks. No answers need be submitted until the last day of the hunt.
8 questions (one per topic) will appear on this page each Friday sometime between 12:00am and 11:59pm
The first set of 8 questions will appear on Friday, September 5, 2008 The last set of 8 questions will appear on Friday, October 31, 2008 There will be a total of 72 questions over the 8 week period Contact information will be given with the last 8 questions on October 31,2008 The first person or team to contact me with all the correct answers via the method given on Friday October 31, 2008 will win a package containing several gifts.

Slaven in May of 1978 The first copy of the “Book of Illusions” to be autographed by me. 10 copies of a special DVD set for you and your friends Additional gifts may be added

Updates 9/8/08 Rampler questions are now only bonus questions. You do not have to Answer the rampler questions to be considered the winner. The rampler himself wanted to play but felt it was an unfair advantage to have those questions so he was not going to participate. I took a survey & 9 out of 10 NYC homeless think Frank is the s*** so those are now bonus questions. I have no idea what the bonus prize will be but once again you do not have to answer those questions to win. I highly recommend listening anyway, the bonus will be good plus the rampler rules!
Nicole emailed a great question. I did not clarify if the * represent a letter or the number of letters total in the word. Here is how it works. A*** is a word that starts with A and has 4 letters. A*** could be Andy or Acts or Ache. Warning: I wouldn’t guess, it may be trickier than you think. Although guessing does make for a funny game to play at boring parties! But in the end ya gotta match the original source exactly.
Also be warned, there is no punctuation in the clues. It is very possible that a sentence ends and a new one begins right in the middle of a line. Punctuations has been intentionally left out. Things like apostrophes have stayed in but periods, commas, things like that are gone.
